Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Help/Tutorial Topic - Updated

That's now fixed, so no need to do this any more.

Just 'apt-get install nitdroid-installer' and you get the latest.

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 & Multiboot Development And Announcement Thread

Technically speaking the only problem was the interaction with kernel-power, or the incompatibility. This should have been fine if ppl just had accepted the situation, but there were quite many...

About multiboot:

There are some unexpected issues with multiboot_0.2.9,
so I am recalling the release for the time being.

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 & Multiboot Development And Announcement Thread

Yeah my mistake.

kernel-power-settings depends on kernel-power-flasher, which conflicts with multiboot.

So result is can't install kernel-power-settings.

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 & Multiboot Development And Announcement Thread

that is actually a bug in kernel power, not in multiboot.

power39 was suppose to add support for multiboot by introducing the kernel-power-bootimg package, which replaces kernel-power.
however,...

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 & Multiboot Development And Announcement Thread

it should work without any mods. Actually, the instructions should pick up latest power kernel anyway, not just 39!

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 & Multiboot Development And Announcement Thread

The kernel code in NITdroid is the same as in Titan's power kernel.

Also, we are using the same parameters Titan has suggested on his OC wiki page.

Cheers!

Re: Multiboot 0.2.5 released

No, I installed

kernel-power-bootimg_2.6.28-maemo39
kernel-power-modules_2.6.28-maemo39

the other files are needed if you are flashing the kernel manually without multiboot. And would probably...

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 & Multiboot Development And Announcement Thread

Good news, NITDroid supports OCing out-of-the-box.

Multiboot installs a file /etc/power.conf.example which you can edit and copy to /and/system/etc/power.conf

The parameters and values are the...

Re: Multiboot 0.2.5 released

AFAIK bq27x00 is conflicting with BME. If you load the module in bootup, BME won't start most of the time, and the system reboots.

We had this problem with Nitdroid, but it is solved now with a...
