naru you have to be patient. Rendering smileys correctly is hard. Chat history is a big problem in a cell phone, where the most important value is the battery life. You'll get what you want, but...

No. Upgrade to 0.0.9 and register your phone if you haven't done so already. 0.0.9 allows registration.

If you use Yappari you don't need any other Whatsapp client.

Error 5 is Socket Timeout so it seems you can't reach the Whatsapp servers from that connection you're using.

If you change the name of your contact after you loaded Yappari, it won't be refreshed on the application until you restart it. That's also because there's no contact sync.

The std::bad_alloc is an "Out Of Memory" error. I don't know what can cause that error in your contact list, maybe a bad formed picture in one of the contacts, or something like that.

I don't have any control of the virtual keyboard. It's the same virtual keyboard you get in every Maemo application. At least it's like that for me.
