I think your reboot loop maybe covered on the CSSU-Testing thread.

Re: [Announce][Fremantle] FlopSwap - Swap GUI Management

Here is my feedback on this new version:

After upgrading, verifying that the "Enable uSD swaps" was still checked and then rebooting, the current swap partition was /dev/mmcblk0p3 instead of the...

Re: Swap on sdcard I/O error

You sure cp works? I'd rather do cat /dev/mtd2 > /home/user/MyDocs/mtd2

Re: Swap on sdcard I/O error

Maybe it's worth to inform Pali (kernel-power maintainer) to your findings? It seems interesting, maybe patch for big cards support could get improved?

Re: Swap on sdcard I/O error

bragging?
simply use ext2
or disable journaling (hint: tune2fs)

i have a SanDisk 64GB uhs-1 with 2 ext2 partitions after a vfat one
and an extended partion...

Re: SD card ext2/3/4 multiple partitions mount problem

@Il_Principe: Support for any fileystem on any SD card partition is fixed in CSSU. Just install CSSU and it should work fine (maemo will automount all partitions)

Re: SD ext2/3/4 partition mount problem

The thread should be renamed to "SD with multiple partitions mount problem", beacause this doesn't matter what type of filesystem resides on the partition, vfat or ext2/3/4.

Re: SD partition mount problem

+1

I made 2 partitions on my microSD: ext2 + swap. Now I have the same behaviour: after reboot ext2 mounts to mmc1, but after connecting/disconnectingto a PC it is remounted at mmc1p1.

Is there...

Re: SD partition mount problem

Looks to me like the crippled maemo system does not recognize as the filesystem it had mounted before, but found a unknown new partition.
Did you ever create that mmc1p1 mount point manually?
Did...

Re: [Announce][Fremantle] FlopSwap - Swap GUI Management

I would like to work out why you have had an issue. It does seem you are having permission issues writing the file but NFC why it's not happened before.
Let me get back to you when I have the code...
