Emails don't trigger the DBus event I'm listening to, the rewrite will use the same method the lockscreen uses, and will be configurable so you pick what notifications you want the LED to blink for.

Ok, found a solution; do as root:
/sbin/initctl restart xsession/icd2

after that, using the gui to connect to wifi will show networks again, and after connecting, webbrowser and such work again....

someone (MAG) HAS made the LED notification, you need an 'open' device.

I dont have a link on me, but search meego forum under handset.
