Re: Is there anything we can do??

In light of how wrong the TMO consensus was on what Elop would announce, I think your comment and ignore list reflects more negatively on you then on them.

Heads in sand - common pastime around...

Re: Is there anything we can do??

"Is there anything we can do??" - no, there isn't. Nokia is big business and not some kind of playground for open source enthusiasts. Symbian was driving Nokia to its' grave and you are exaggerating...

Re: Is there anything we can do??

I've been doing a bit of thinking and a hell of a lot of reading of these Nokia/MS threads and this public display of mourning about Nokia is a bit.....weird.

Re: Is there anything we can do??

Nokia has only started to decline (marketshare%, putting out craps like n97, inefficiency in r&d: maemo since 2007 and still not done, losing touch with the higher end market, etc) ever since Elop...

Re: Is there anything we can do??

It's not a great summary, it's a surrealistic mishmash of Finnish history and linux kernel code (1). The message seems to be "Finns are awesome so don't change anything at Nokia! We fought Stalin,...

Re: Is there anything we can do??

How is Nokia's current condition Elop's fault?

Re: Is there anything we can do??

I do care about open source.

I'm just not some blubbering fool lacking a reality check.

And the fact is, dear person... Nokia hasn't cared about you nor Maemo since it's been treated like a pet...

Re: Amazing - Elop lays the axe on Symbian, MeeGo and QT

I am speechless at how naive you are.

I suggest you read ALL of statements and material put out by Elop and Nokia today before you further assert that Nokia will continue to back Meego in any...

Re: What's so bad about Nokia + Android anyway?

I think that MeeGo is just a truncated Amigo and your "nice play on words is not clever.

As for Americans being sheep, I don't see us as being more sheeplike than other nationalities. Baah.
