Hi,

I have a n900 on the way... gonna see what happens w. a T-Mobile Mifi SIM card in it.

So I assume I'll need to update/reflash my new device. And because of Nokia's changes, it's a little...

Sailfish has chroot working without any need of Inception/open mode kernel/etc. So some ARM images work with chroot on Sailfish without any problems, but only with text interface, with no graphical...

Seriously guys, I don't see your problem.

As Jonni (rainisto) says, the device is still unlockable, you just need to use a different way to do it. And you can go back to a previous software...

The reliance on boot security is plain stupidity. The only safe way to ensure data security is encryption. There will always be some kind of security holes in linux kernel

This is a very evil attitude from Jolla. At least an unlocked bootloader should be able to boot our own images directly. :( one major disappointment follows another one

No, no go, fastboot oem unlock gave same permission error when trying to boot :(

GREAT, that update removed the ability to boot custom kernels directly from fastboot. I'm very angry, this was the best rescue possiblity from brick. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

fastboot -i 0x2931 boot...
