There's about a dozen supplied - look under Settings/Profiles to change the ring tone. You can also add new ones through there - any playable music files would look to be okay.

You can use any audio file that the device plays as a ring tone. So that pretty much eliminates the need for commercial ring tones.

I have never used Mail.com, but they appear to be a webmail provider. You should be able to use the web browser on your N900 to access your email there. Have you tried this? Does it work? If there...
