That picture looks like from a virtual game.

The first one looks more in my eyes. Looks like the view where I was flying with 3D glasses.

I was thinking something like this which fits the theme perfectly... But I'm not a Man U supporter. ;)

Thanks to Chen for the inspiration, this is my entry. Sorry the picture isn't quite as... sharp as it could be ;)
Taken on 9 June 2021 with an Xperia X running Sailfish. No edits.

Have you coded with that? Nice it had all the commands ready. BASIC?

Too late for using it for anything serious. I always wanted one when I was a teenager but they were out of my reach. So I became a collector in my old age, to fulfil my teenage dreams ;) I don't use them, just bask in their awesomeness ;)

I longed for one of those back in the day, too. IIRC, in the US, Radio Shack sold several models of Sharp Pocket Computer under their own brand name. The probably did that in other markets, too.

I did have a TI-66 (outsourced by TI to Toshiba) which was technically my Dad's. He didn't really need the programmability, so his daily driver was a more pocketable, non-programmable sharp scientific model. (I used it in school, the only programming I did on it was to track gas mileage in my car, which was 12-14 mpg. :( For those who use the SI, that's approximately 603 kilorods/hogshead.)

I think it might be kinda redundant to post my favorite Sharp(TM) device for competition, but I'll try to dig it out later for fun. It occurs to me I haven't seen any of their products in the US for quite a few years . . . pity.

I know that the US gallon is smaller than the imperial gallon, making the American cars sound worse on fuel economy than they are, but 12 mpg is pretty bad by any measure.

Actually, we SI nerds measure fuel economy exactly the other way around: in units of volume per unit of distance*), which would make your car do about 0.3 kilothimbles/nanoparsec.

*) Which cancels out nicely as a unit of area, as XKCD wittily observed. Your car thus does about 0.282 aT (atto Texases).

In the car's defense, it was an old car 35 years ago, being originally a first anniversary present for my Mom from my Dad! :)

And 1 Texas is approximately 108 centiFrances . . . it makes the efficiency look just a little better, and every drop counts.
