Camera phone competition December 2022 "warmth"
December is here, it's getting colder here at my place. I hope each of you has a warm and peaceful home. Not only because it makes it easier to take part in December competition, but because I think everybody in the world should have a warm and peaceful place to live.
The theme for December is warmth. This can be a fireplace as well as a heart worming action, or whatever you associate with the word warmth. Because just few people took part on the November competition, I changed the rules for this month a little bit: The rules: Photos must be taken during this month Photos must be taken by the posting member Photos must be taken with a phone camera Users are allowed to post up to two photos for the competition. Users must name the phone they used Last three days of this month are for voting 3 day voting period starts on Decemberber 28th at 22:00 UTC and ends at 22:00 UTC on December 31th. The winner will have the honor to choose the next competition theme. Happy shooting! EDIT: Competition is extended to end of January: 3 day voting period starts on January 28th at 22:00 UTC and ends at 22:00 UTC on January 31th. |

So first of my picture is from somehow a cold time in December and weather was not so warm, but small candle can warm you heart... I think it's voting time for our somewhat dying contest. I think, it is not necessary to make a sum up of the rare cntributions.
Even so it were just few entries. All of them were really nice. Anyway my ranking is quite clear: 1. place goes to catbus #1 (for me this pic brings back so many memories of happy days in the past and the yearning for more days like these) 2. place goes to ric9K for a very creative photo. it's not the subject, but how you captured it on picture. 3. place goes to Macros for bringing in some nostalgia. Captured with a nice phone. |

I vote for #1 catbus (first picture).
It is quite beautiful and was certainly not easy to take with a phone camera, even a modern one. |
