Yes, very slow. And the 4.0 version was not so slow.

thumbs up for them for still supprting maemo anyways. I have it so that I can log in to sites that I don't have the password with me (thanks to sync) --btw i'm wondering if I could use fennec's profile folder in microb-- but 5 is indeed slower than drowning. (4 was about the same here, maybe worst)
I had also tried on a milestone xt720 and it couldn't even load a webpage. I wonder are they targeting only galaxy s2's?

just broke it by trying to enable some known hardware acceleration options,
so I'm UN-installing it now

just installed 6.0 and I find it a bit faster than 5. Still slow, but not frusrating

The slowness of this makes me want to fix my Debian VM and install the Fremantle SDK to replace microb-engine with the 6.0 Gecko.

Try the latest qt build, 9.0-a1. Much faster than ver 6 or 7 and scrolling performance has vastly improved. More info here - http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...1&postcount=27

Indeed 9a1 is really fast. Maybe finally we can replace microb. Only if a nice soul ported cursor mode over.
