SMS not coming from Android phone
 

It seems that Google breaks SMS standard with Android. If there is emoji after text the message then message doesn't come at all to Maemo 5. Have somebody else same problem and is there any work around update or do I missing some basic update?

And because above thread is so long. I made short answer for N900:
1. Download .deb files from here:
https://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?...&postcount=132
2. Then go terminal:
3. Go where you download files
4. Then these commands:
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i libsms-utils0_0.5.17.3+0m7_armel.deb
dpkg -i libsms-utils0_0.5.17.3+0m7_armel-mod.deb
5. Restart and next SMS with emoji work.

Emojis show up with their codes. If you want see them and send them, you have to do more, If you do please come here and tell what you did.

P.S. I noticed that if you are very fast to go to test, it looks like Conversation hang, but wait, it does not hang, if you have over 10000 SMS it is normal that you have to wait after restart.
