How to swap pins on new battery for Jolla Tablet?

The former battery in my Jolla Tablet had done its job and need to be replaced.

Looking at the first in this thread I've brought the same battery: https://together.jolla.com/question/...y-replacement/ and are planning to replace it.

However I don't really know how to swap the pins on the new battery without damaging the black plastic plug.

I really don't know how to do it "using a flat precision tool screwdriver" as described in the thread without destroying the black plastic port.

Anyone in there who have any ideas?

Thanks in advance :D

I think you need to use the screwdriver to release the locking tabs of the metal connector inside the plastic plug.

See here for a similar item:

So by precision screwdriver, they mean one small enough to fit inside the plug, or reach those tabs, it's difficult to know without seeing it close up.

You should gently press that shiny metal thing and pull the wire out.
It probablly has something similar to the left one

That hooks for the edge of the hole in plastic

I'm searching for a replacement connector for my battery: https://www.bigupbattery.com/Acer-AP...att-008901.htm

I've searched for a replacement connector just in case I break it.

Really don't know what to search for. Have tried to search for part and battery number and various searches involving "6 pin connector".

If I could just find the official name for the adapter I would help or a some schematics/data/specifications of the battery.

Would be really glad if someone could help.
