1. The people don't use whatsapp
2. If you just added them, hit the sync button (or restart yappari). That worked for me (and yes, most my contacts are +316... too).

I was running java app -> 0.0.3 (via meegoexpert forum too) -> 0.0.17 with manual patched config file.

Just a thought ... since I registered with the java port in the past and simply changed the yappari config file myself later on (which worked wonders): can't new people register with an official app...

You probably even want to drop the leading 0 in the number and phonenumber.

So, for all newbies here: if you've used the java port before and successfully registered, copy the config above into your own config file and of course change the phone...

The 0.0.17 version doesn't work for me (registration sms never received) yet I was one of them java peeps that used that before, so 0.0.3 still works for me :)

So I did register in the past...
