Make sure you manually disconnect the phone from internet (3G) before tethering. If I recall correctly I had the same problem once.

I think for the "Enhance lock screen" it would be great if the lock screen was treated like an "extra" desktop... That way you could add whatever you want, including future app/widgets to it the same...

Use nuevasync.... there is a lot of posts here that clarify that google/gmail is not completely exchange compatible

Me too, I don't have any hard data to back it up. But I remember when I got the device I left it connected over 3G to Skype, MSN, Yahoo overnight and had 2/3 of battery next morning. I did the same...

Thanks... I saw the Jabra ones but I wonder where the audio gets routed if I plug the earphones to the N900 instead of to the dog tag... The Bluetooth dog tag or the N900 audio output?

I like shake2control... but I think I would be even better to replace the functionality of the lock button, the volume, or the camera with play/next while playing music

Is there any bluetooth remote control? A very basic one, like with play/pause/next/back.... I couldn't find any on the web that doesn't include the phone functionality of the headsets or the car-kits...

It is still a cool piece of software. You'd have to tap "Not Matched", tap a local contact from the list and then a facebook contact... or the other way around, sorry... don't remember now LOL
