From reading the last 19 pages it seems hostmode is working rather well, It looks like most of the issues are user error and not understanding how linux works.

Your right, Telstra's NextG is UMTS 850 with fallback to 900/1800 GSM

Sorry it wont work on NextG but it will operate with the NextG sim on 900/1800 2G GSM band.

Overclocking did help, but still not 100% got to a 900mhz stable. But I prefer not to overclock if not needed.

Im using DVB so cant change the recording profile there.

You cant use the Iphone maps but do a google search for maemo sygic australia and you will find what you need. Its about the 6th result from the top. Applies to NZ aswell, they are in the same...

Same problem here. With pr 1.1.1 it would start going choppy after 20-30 minutes. With Pr1.2 its worse, every 5 minutes it starts going choppy. If I put the call on hold and return its ok for another...

To get past the QT3 stuff in .22 edit programs/programs.pro and comment/remove mythlcdserver and mythtranscode, frontend will then build successfully.
