I haven't seen Flandry's workaround, but when in doubt, just leaving the option to remap the keys is probably a good idea

I'd like to inform all the developers that the 4 arrows are not separate keys on every keyboard, on the french keyboard for example right is right, left is down, up is Fn + down and down is Fn...

Yay gmail works! had to disable the contacts because it caused an error after syncing(it wen through the sync ok but caused a problem in the end, and exiting mfe if it hasn't completely synced causes...
