i think it's due to the fact that it caches your last position. i don't remember where the cache file was located, it was discussed here on the forum. after deleting it, try to get a fix with a-gps...

i believe that's incorrect. a-gps involves data traffic, ie you're being charged. from what i've read it's only a few kB, but nevertheless.
