it was a new sim but they sent a new one anyway. I also found out that anyone not on voda couldnt call me. it appears to be a porting fault. apparently t mobile forget sometimes and try to reclaim...

sms problems after Vodafone update
Hi guys, Happy New Year and all that bobbins.
Vodafone updated the Network/sim cards the other night and since then I cant send SMS. Have been sent a new Sim but still doesnt work. Anyone else...

NBG, Mine ended up dying completely, (It bricked) got an returns number from MPD (rang them) and was told to send it back you have to pay postage and they'll refund it. Had a moment of genius and...

Doesn't matter in a moment of genius I'd kept them on the old sim. They copied even though the sim was inactive.

walked into the shop and a swapped it for a new one :) to be fair to the shop the were boxing at least 50 of them up. they said MPD / Nokia retail had pre orders of 1480 and they were sent 250 of...

Had a moment of genius. Rang the now!! Nice manager in banbury. Gave him my RA number and he said bring it in he'll swap it. Off to Banbury, laters potaters. :D

phone fails during start up. Nokia sign comes on the the Knightrider light goes across the bottom for a bit then locks. Any way to get my contacts off the piece of junk?

Just spoke to a pleasant chap at MPD (makes a nice change)
RA number got. Says I should get a replacement straight away. :rolleyes: We'll see.

mine is alive again. :) just spoke to a guy in the phillapenes, or nokia uk asx they're known. talked me through a couple of steps and all seems good :) reboot apparently is the phone refreshing it'...
