Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

And where to buy them too. I'm also looking for a good N900-compatible bluetooth stereo headset (not the single ear pieces na parang nasa call center ka). And hirap humanap sa Alabang and Makati eh....

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

You need to put a space after the punctuation for it to capitalize the next letter. :)

Changing the topic: Anyone knows if there's a Gaming Gripper for N900 available locally? Parang ang sarap...

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

@billy900: dual booting MeeGo 1.1 isn't scary. It doesn't involve doing anything that will change your existing Maemo system (just be careful with the flasher command and enter it exactly as it is...

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

Wow! I never thought I'd meet (at least online) N900 users so near. Adelina II, San Pedro, Laguna. :D

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

Yay! Finally a proud owner of a N900. Slightly used but in good condition. Yun nga lang yung TV-out cable nasa owner pa.

What is the recommended protection for the unit that's locally available?...

Re: An alternative app launcher

Wow! This looks like what I've been looking for, to complete a Diablo5 + Telescope + Launcher trinity. But I think I'll wait a bit for a less dangerous version. :) *twiddles thumbs*

Thanks for...

Re: [Announce]: Diablo5 Theme (By Kroll}

Whew! Thanks for conforming what I was suspecting. The Diablo 5 and Telescope combo is so great that I think I can bear with a bit of a battery drain if they were indeed the culprits. Thank goodness...

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

Haha! I'm in the same position as you. N810 + 5230 ko = Internet anywhere (basta may load). So far wala naman akong problem with the N810 as a user. As a programmer, un nga lang it's considered a...

Re: [Announce]: Diablo5 Theme (By Kroll}

First of all, thanks for this theme (and to whoever did Telescope). It was like breathing new life into an extremely useful and moderately powerful device that has been deprecated by its parents in...

Re: Nokia N900 Pinoy Owners

Yeah N900 is now locally available. Price range is around Php 28,000 and above (from major stores).

You can also run the MeeGo Handset UX on the N900. There are images for it.

Kainggit kayo! :(

Re: Nokia N900 Pinoy Owners

Wow I didn't know there were this many Filipino N900 owners, and even in the Philippines (or Laguna for that matter, which is where I am too)!

I'm still dying to get my hands on a N900, specially...

Re: Maemo 6 to get multitouch& gestures with Qt 4.6

That's also true, but having your hands positioned that way (using the keyboard) is a bit awkward and tiring (at least for me. I get cramps. Maybe it's just the way I hold the thing). Also in the...

Re: Maemo 6 to get multitouch& gestures with Qt 4.6

Amusingly, that's actually the only use case for multi-touch that I have personally. This feature is especially useful/necessary for console emulators where pressing a button + a direction makes a...

Greetings from the Philippines! Not exactly a "newly joined" member (registered last March), but only became active very recently, partly due to the N900. Hope I can get one soon (the price is very...

Re: Live Nokia world chat

You guys have it lucky. I had to wait for a year before the N810 was available here, in limited numbers, and not directly from Nokia. (For various reasons, it wasn't possible to order out of the...

Re: Live Nokia world chat

I actually wouldn't mind having a "step 4" device, though there's a factor of uncertainty that makes me think twice about dishing out 500€ for it. Namely, will the "step 5" OS (presumably Harmattan)...

Re: VGBA games list! Post your working/not working/slow games here

Wow thanks for that crude workaround! yeah I know it's annoying, but at least there's a glimmer of hope. You really made my day :)
