Yeah, I have no doubt that the "connection rejected" issue you are having is due to the fact you are using Windows XP Home. RDP hosting was specifically left out of the Home addition.

Do you have another windows computer (or any other OS that supports RDP I guess) on your network that you can use to try and RDP into the computer? This would allow you to find out if it is a setup...

Windows XP Home cannot host a RDP connection. So the PyRdesktop cannot connect to it since the XP Home OS cannot host the connection.
I am not sure whether or not there is a hack to allow XP Home...

Thanks. I tried several names (like pydesktop, etc) and nothing had worked. Rdesktop-cli worked fine when I tested it in x-term. Now I just need to update the script and everything should be great.
