Yes my replacement unit had these white spots too and in the middle of the screen. Annoying... I need to wait ~3 weeks again for another replacement. :D quality control go!

Keep in mind that currently anything bigger than the phone's resolution 800x480 wont play, even if filetype is supported. AFAIK

Even I'm starting to go mad, I want my media player to work properly, even shuffle is broken. Tracks sometimes stop in the middle of the song and skip to next (has been reported though)...

I don't think so because I couldn't connect with hostname on another routers either. Seems like my N900 isn't broadcasting it at all. With ip I can connect but, it's pretty annoying when ip changes...

I can confirm that off calibrating my screen with the instructions did make a huge difference, the phone did not miss any links this morning while reading feeds on the bus.

Yeah I calibrated my screen using that guide, I'll keep using it like that for a while and I'll report if I see any difference :)

And I've had this happen even if the webpage was rendered fully...

Yeah I think it's something like that, I've tried longer presses but it wont help usually because it basically wont "click" it but if you still keep holding an swipe up/down the page will scroll.

I use the stylus too when I browse sites.
I have no trouble hitting the links at all, the problem is that it wont usually register the tap, or registers (the link changes color/screen vibrates) but...

No way it's because of the resistive screen, all the menus etc work just fine. And no pressing harder doesn't make any difference at all. Only consecutive taps will make the link work, usually 2-3...

Almost every time when you load a page and click a link there nothing happens as if browser just grabs focus or...
