I'm having a problem that I haven't been able to find a fix for after a browse through t.m.o. and Bugzilla.

After updating from PR1.2, my App Manager lists begin in reverse alphabetical order, and then after some time (whilst apt-worker consumes lots of CPU to find out their sizes) jumps to being sorted by size (even though the size is no longer shown in the UI.) For more background, read on below...

Like most people, I updated OTA last week from my N900, and had to free up some rootfs space to do so, and so I switched the sorting in Application Manager to Size so I could remove the largest ones. I left the App Manager in this mode before updating, which went fine as expected, but then started the above behaviour.

I strongly suspect that the App Manager has retained the "Sort by size" preference, somehow, but it's been removed from the UI, so I've got no way of changing it back (which I'd very much like to!)

I'm going to take a look through the App Manager source code to see if I can find anything, but wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of where App Manager stores its preferences so I could fix my problem?

Thanks in advance.

[By the way, could a Mod move this to the Applications forum? I think I've put it in the wrong place.]
