Most of the reason for it stopping responding for a while is due to the fact that it is running from an sd card and not the builtin memory

The higher the class sd card the better it will be

I for one am pleased we have a bunch of guys getting Android working on the n900, I have 2 n900's one is my main phone running meaego and the other I dont use with a sim and is effectively an Android Tablet
