It really seems you like to tinker with your N9 but you do not like to use the search capabilities of this forum or a search machine (e.g. google)?
Charging has not really been taken care of by juiceme and it even may drain your battery down to less than the infamous border of 7% (same may happen when on nitdroid).
So in case you want to charge from device off state you need to (in case Harmattan is chosen as default):
plug charger
wait for ubiboot console
unplug charger for a few seconds (iirc very short is enough)
and plug charger again
