hi, i have a new wallpaper created which is really bright.
now i thought, i could use it for the morning and another for the evening. The wallpaper for the evening i would use photoshop to pull down the brightness.

some car navigation switch the colors or the brightness to special time.

It will be nice if anybody want to creat a app which change the wallpapers (variable like 1-9) to variable daytime...

examples:

morning: from 06:00 till 12.00 o'clock

noon: from 12:00 till 16.00 o'clock

afternoon: from 16:00 till 22.00 o'clock

night: from 22:00 till 06.00 o'clock

i really like the idea. And I could imagine, there are some skilled devs around that could write some sort of "wallpaper timer".

also it depends on how this should work...
easiest way would be to automatically set a different image series at a given time...

hope some people find this thread and think about that.

Why re-invent the wheel?

Fcron, coupled with a small shell script can do this.
