Hi All,
After the 1.2 upgrade I have found a few apps that
1)dont install at all (cant think of one to name)
2)dont work properly once installed eg simplenotewidget

Just wondered what will happen with apps that no longer work and are not being supported by the developers to bring them up to 1.2? will they just sit in repo's forever pointlessly clogging them up or will they be removed after a certain amount of time?

Open source is all about forking dead projects if you want to continue working on them.

So, old programs that aren't actively developed any more will just "sit in repo's" and never be removed unless there is some other reason for that. And I can't think of any.

File bug reports, contact developers via e-mail. If they don't answer then ask X-Fade or someone else responsible for the repository to have those applications removed.
