I have a HS-103 headset with a answer/terminate button and a volume rocker, is there any way I can get it working on my N900? [CSSU/KP all latest]

harrdware buttons on bh-214 are working flawlessly out of the box - if your headphones respect bluetooth control profile, there shouldn't be any problem, too.
