But that's the convience in this, you don't need to install anything on the target computer but I agree, if you need something like this regularly ssh would be a better option.

This is very interesting for system administrators. Because we have administration access to servers, but we are not allowed to install nothing.
We use scripts and pstools:

i would guess that the pass is sent in clear text, but a tcpdump/wireshark capture should verify that.
