I've been going through the code and don't see anything obvious; does anyone know if there's any way to raise the bluetooth chip's power output?

Is it a hardware parameter, or perhaps in the firmware?

It would be great to raise it a few mW as it's just not quite enough for outdoor bluetooth audio.

Edit - Does anyone know for certain if the n900's bluetooth chip supports class-1 mode @ 100mW? Is there something special that has to be done to enable it, and will it work with any "v2.1EDR" device?

Bump.

Does anyone know if the bluetooth transceiver on our phones can operate at 100mW (class 1)?
