syncevolution works, just choose a general profile and enter the following details (as found in the horde wiki):
The sync URL is http(s)://pathtoyourhordeinstall/rpc.php
User name/password: your Horde account data
Databases (sometimes called remote settings or server path) should be calendar, tasks, notes, and contacts
The only thing that did not work is when syncing with a password (htpasswd) protected server. I tried https://user

but that did not work, some requests were blocked with a 401 error... If anybody knows a solution other than turning off htpasswd authentication, please let me know
