yup it can be done that way
btw anyone able to solder them should also be able to fix the usb port if not so disastrous i think flashing just needs rx tx and gnd

Using the image above could I have someone solder a usb cable to the board and be able to mount and flash my n900 back to factory?
Does anybody know?
