Not sure if there's a proper accessories thread for the N9 yet, if there isn't i'm down for editing this into a big user-friendly guide, also keen to get this into an app too.

Either way, here's my situation:

I have a DRC-BT30, which is very good, and works perfectly with my N9. Call button answers/hangs up, musc controls work no matter where you are in the UI. Auto reconnects when turned back, only niggle is thatw hen reconnected, you must manually ress play on device, or have the music app open and onscreen.

MW600.
A clear +1 on the BT30, has an LED display that shows current music track/title, battery life, etc.
So this works 100% with eye-phone, and with some android devices, but i'm hoping somebody out there could get their hand on one to check the feature compatability.
