This forum has piqued my interest,
but with all the negative talk about lack of support, i'm hesitant to buy.
seems like the 770 wouldn't be too risky considering its value on the market.

I'm looking for a 770 in the $100 range, unless someone really wants to sell an 800 quick for a great price.

edit: I'm looking for a bluetooth keyboard included in the package, and i would pay a little more.

cheers

got a 149$ nokia 770 1 month ago; great little piece of hardware. not as buggy as people seams to think it is. the only thing annoying on the 770 is the rs-mmc flash format. I don't think the 800 worth the extra money as the 770 is fast enough and I have no use for skype or direct-to-screen youtube.

ipod touch ? no linux, no open source, no thank you

N800 is much faster and it will be supported in the future (http://maemo.org/news/announcements/...184675758.html).

Or if you're willing to wait awhile (and save up a little more cash), there's bound to be a third tablet sometime next year. Personally, I'd go with the 770 for now and wait for the announcement of the next hardware upgrade.

I have a 770 upgraded to the latest firmware with a 2 gb card I would let go for $150. I got it from ecost about a month ago. I haven't really used it enough to justify. I have the box and all the fixins.

The price of the $150 unit is now $289.99 at ecost. Amazon isn't any cheaper for these things anymore. Weird that their cost suddenly nearly doubles.
