the best way to get fMMs setup is to remove (purging) the application from your device first then re-install it...fMMs will create a access point for you device automaticly after re-installing...
if you dont know about purging then do this...open x-terminal on your device then input this...

root
apt-get remove --purge fmms
apt-get autoclean
apt-get autoremove

after doing it then input this on x-terminal

root
apt-get install fmms
apt-get -f install

gud luck....

It took me quiet a while to get it all together, but I got us the MMS settings for our N900s!

!ATTENTION!: These are in fact CASE SENSITIVE. so make sure you do something about Auto-Caps

Connection settings:-

Access point name: simple

MMSC: http://10.165.193.23/mms/wapenc

User name:

Password:

HTTP proxy: 216.155.165.50

*Leave everything in the advanced menu blank
*Do NOT put anything for the 'User name' and 'Password'
