New question for the day.

Do I need to purchase an official Nokia battery wall charger thingy or can I just stop by at Walmart and pick up some type of universal one?

Like what would I be exactly looking for if I went to the store and bought a generic charger?

Yeah, I've got a few N800s and my wall chargers for them are all goosed.

I need to buy a couple of these but I'd rather not go online and purchase the officials ones if it's not needed.

just make sure the universal you get matches or exceeds the nokia mA rating.
I have been using a 5v 800mA with both an n800 and an n810 with good results.

Addison you can buy any 5V standard charger, even if you don't check specification the 95% will work fine.

And if you are handy with electric wires, you can use any mobile phone charger(the most of them are 5V-6V DC), you only need to change the output connector.
