Is it possible to make a flash file into an app ?
I made a flash game for my nokia n900 and rather than opening it in the browser. I would rather click an icon like any other app or game and open and use it fullscreen/stretched to fit.

Is this possible and if so.. how do I do it. Thanks

thanks for the advice. But I've used that in the past.

I want to be able to use my flash game like any other game on the nokia n900
By going through the apps and clicking its icon. Not by using a flash launcher then going through its app list

Have you tried creating an icon? If the associations are correct, it should auto-load microb and start to play it.

Hi if you have leafpad installed you can see how shorcuts work by running this:

Code:
leafpad /usr/share/applications/hildon/browser.desktop
you don't need leafpad, you can use cat to see it rigth in terminal..

some icons are stored in

Code:
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps
hope it helps you make a shorcut..

You're creating a shortcut that opens microb on the page that you want.

Look at the .desktop file that lktwo mentioned and make one like that - however substituting the URL and icon path for ones you want.

Guys, seriously, MicroB is bad for gaming. You're all better off using taking advantage of the Tutorial-app. Like I do.
This is it:
-Backup the *secret* file in *secret location* (This is a scavenger hunt. )
-Symlink the .swf you want to run into the Tutorial app's swf, and run.
Voila, you have a flash launcher.
I made an automated script for it, so all I have to do is run run-flash.sh [swf-file]
If you're interested, just tell me.

How about if I want to create a QBW widget?
Is there a command like: microb /home/users/Mydocs/flash.swf?
