hey guys, i was installing some webos games in DEB, but one of them (nfsUC) was .IPK and accidentally i installed this IPK package using DPKG. The installation didnīt completed and i rebooted the device.
Now i canīt install any package using App.Maganer, it says "Device Space not enough" and using xTerminal it says "The package com.ea.nfsuc needs to be reinstalled but i canīt find any packages".

How can i get rid of it?

Thanks

I'm guessing an apt-get purge com.ea.nfsuc would sort this out.

If you can't purge it (no space for lock)
do this

Code:
root
cd /usr/bin
rm *nfsuc*
NOTE: If you have nfsuc installer from extras, do
Code:
ls
and check the actual name of the nfsuc executable!
then
Code:
rm <the actual name>

It's an IPK package. They're simpler than this.
They collect all the files in a single directory inside /usr/palm/.

Go to Xterm and cd to /usr/palm/.
If this directory exists, it's pretty straight-forward to remove the files it has put there.
(NOTE: REMEMBER NOT TO USE "rm -r *" ! FIND THE EXACT DIRECTORY.)

/opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/com.ea.app.nfsuc
/usr/bin/
/usr/share/applications/hildon
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps

Reflashing device due to such small issue would be ridiculous grotesque. Just try a little harder man, and delete files by hand, as people suggested in posts before mine.

No file or folder is named starting with 'com-ea-'???

Did you try to open the .IPK file with some kind of archive manager to get the path from, maybe, data.gz or any manifest list???

Come on, use some 'du -h|sort|less' and find out what occupies space! You f*cked up, you put in effort to clean up.
