well i didnt know conversation inbox widget has been updated to show amount of msgs. That works too! thanks

Hmm.. I'd really like to see an update on the SMSCounter Widget, I really liked it! It stopped counting after PR1.2 upgrade, I tried reinstall, now it's just a black box..

Seems simple to re-create, but I don't know anything about developing for Maemo :P

Bugtracker seems to be dead..

Has it been fixed ?? where is the new sms widget for download ?

A temporary fix was provided by colchaodemola here
Replace the file with
/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/sms_counter_widget.py
