Got it updated finally. It was quite a hassle, but worth it.
Thanks for being helpful with fixing the update process.

Oops, sorry about that. Will purchase yours tout de suite.

News: now it's possible to get a TRIAL version of Nokia N9 FM Radio from official support site: http://fm-radio.mobi/install_howto.html

Trial version has all the features, but works only 5 minutes.
Don't forget to enable developer mode prior to installation.

BTW, we are working a new great and usefull feature, new version should appear in Ovi Store soon.
Look for updates on the site, or follow news in twitter: https://twitter.com/zelenkovsky

And now let me officialy introduce new version of Nokia N9 FM Radio (v1.1.2)
This version adds very useful feature - now it's possible to record radio stream into a file! AAC codec is used to capture audio, so it keeps both good quality and small file size.

New version also has small UI improvements:
- RDS helper to re-name stations
- Polish translation
- Portuguese translation
- Some minor fixes

We need to power on Bluetooth chip in order to configure FM radio receiver (it's on the same chip) and sometimes it fails to turn it off.

Hope it doesn't casue any serious problems.

No, not at all

Just asking

Another question, is there a possibility that the N9 has also a fm transmitter?

Actually there is FM transmitter on the same chip, but there is no transmitting antenna, so it doesn't work.

Is there any chance we can get something that would allow us to switch the FM transmitter on and off? Perhaps the device can transmit some kind of signal even without it?
