Everybody, please test if this version working fine.
Initially I've tried your v5 patch (from sometime back), it did seem to help resolve it when I was testing only the alarm-ui side of things. I didn't get around testing the phone ringing.

It was sometime afterwards that I could hear default nokia ringtone playing instead of my own specified ringtone. After installing CSSU-Thumb the issue became really apparent when default nokia ringtone was the first to chime and then one could hear their own specified ringtone ringing a few seconds afterwards (this is all whilst the default nokia ringtone is still playing). The end result was horrible as one could hear a few seconds into device ringing that it sounds like two sets of phones/devices were ringing instead of one.

Anyhow your latest release without compatibility seems to work now. There's no more default nokia ringtone and after a brief few seconds I could hear my own specified ringtone. I eventually got around to being able to make phone calls as well from another area. I ranged 16 times, each time without fail there would only be a slight delay (the device is set to vibrate when incoming call is received, and so was vibrating) before I could hear my own specified ringtone playing. Thanks!

The contents of /var/tmp seems to be dynamically generated. On mine I can see pulseaudio stuff (nothing inside), an output of pid for a program and trackerd stuff. I'm pretty sure there's nothing valuable in there.

Here is the output of the perms, you can also see the mtime and all are fairly new, in other words: dynamically generated.

Code:
drwxrwxrwt 4 root root 384 2013-08-05 23:49 /var/tmp

You're on the wrong thread, the version in CSSU-T is cssu6

Well, late to the game as usual, but from the first ring this seems to be working for me.

I will try to fix our nokia modified pulseaudio to be compatible with upstream desktop version (for network support)... But maybe it will not be possible.

@Sourav.dubey: Sorry but this is bug in nokia BME software :-( Freemangordon got it too.

We cannot do anything with closed proprietary bad nokia SW. This is reason why I worked on BME replacement and proper battery implementation. So only fix is to use BME replacement.

Any chance the ringtone fix will get integrated into the CSSU Testing sometime soon? I know installing the fix is trivial, but I like my devices to be synced with the repos.
