Well, microb works great for desktop pages. It's a pita for mobile pages, most simply won't render properly. The engine is simply too old.

A really good browser candidate for N900 is netsurf http://www.netsurf-browser.org/
but porting it is not yet in my priorities...

Might take a look at that one one afternoon in the week. A quick check says it might be possible. Minimum gtk is 2.12 according to build instructions, we have 2.14. Javascript seems optional for those who don't want it.

Ok. QML-Browser been locking up the device due to heavy load for the last few days and MicroB failing to display correctly as it won't dismiss the sites cookie information popup. Time to take a look.

We need libffi6 and libmozjs185 (not sure if newer will work) OR track recent NetSurf activity and switch to Duktape (http://duktape.org/). Debian is listing requirements for libffi6 as gcc4.4, which we may or may not be able to get around for stock sdk version unless we start pulling in gcc4.6. Netsurf 2.9 from wheezy wants libc6-2.7.

Will try to investigage more when on main build machine.
