Does anyone know if Nokia's Point & Find will be available for the N900?

I too would like to see it ported. I found it the other night just strolling through Nokia's site. I have a suspicion this will be an end-goal native implementation in Harmattan. To me it represents an evolution of mobile services that we'll soon expect to be available in every device.

Maybe that's what we'll get in a few years. Might have to ask Nokia Labs that question. Why do anything when other solutions seem more reasonable?

dave,
i fully intend to put ocr into normal image loading.
just the same way you scan and build a thumbnail, might as well see what we can see.
if an app wanted to grep that data afterwards and decide its a movie that is its business.

you havent got time to go fumbling in your apps menu just to record the data.
get things done, take a photo, process it later.
