Commiting an act of thread necormancy to say I got given one of these for Christmas.

It instructed me to charge it via usb for the initial charge, though I didn't have the computer on quite long enough in one go, so left it on a window ledge for a chunk of the day, then finished it off on the usb again.

I've now connected it to the n900, and both devices say it is charging fine.

I doubt Cornwall will ever get quite enough solar power to use this as a sole source of charge, but it would top up at a push if I can keep the freeloader full from the windowledge.
