Boah, this is still buggy after all!!!
Edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/account-plugin-salut.postinst and comment out (add a # to the start of the line) this line

Now inside of vi: Scroll down to the beginning of line 6, reading '/etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start'.
Type (only what is inside the brackets) these: [i] [#] [Esc] [:w] [:q]
What it does: [i] for insert text [#] the actual text, [Esc] to finish the editing, [:w] writes(saves) the file, [:q] quits vi.
Now back in terminal:

dpkg --configure -a
should do it now!

Hey Micha, I tried the above steps but I cannot get it done. For me, all dpkg commands seem to be failing. (using faster application manager I cannot install or remove anyhing) heres the output

/home/user # dpkg --configure -a
Setting up libopenal1 (1:1.9.563-2) ...
Optifying usr/share/doc/libopenal1 -> /opt/maemo/usr/share/doc/libopenal1
mv: cannot rename '/usr/share/doc/libopenal1': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing libopenal1 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
libopenal1

The libopenal1 library is only needed by supertux2 or gembr, as far as i know.
If you are not playing those two you might just remove it, because you only have this configuration stuck.
Code:
dpkg --purge --force-remove-reinstreq libopenal1
If you just need it, remove the offending package
Code:
rm /var/cache/apt/archives/libopenal1*
Then try to re-download it and install
Code:
apt-get install libopenal1

I've had similar errors with a few packages - I think it's something messed up on the optification side. Anyway, to "fix" it, just create the /usr/share/doc/libopenal1 directory before rerunning the dpkg command.

That's briliant mate! Thanks alot Micha!

I once tried installing supertux 2, home dir was full. I could have known there were traces left. And fappman now handles dpkg again! It seems to be solved now, output:

/home/user # dpkg --purge --force-remove-reinstreq libopenal1
(Reading database ... 54511 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing libopenal1 ...
Purging configuration files for libopenal1 ...
/home/user # apt-get install -f
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded.
/home/user # dpkg --configure -a
/home/user #

Im having a similar problem removing and/installing some apps.
I tried to install Shortcutd along with some others a while ago using fapman.
Shortcutd shows up in settings and in the defualt app manager, however in fapman it does not show up as 'installed' and also itgeneraly does not work.
