Please help, recently, evopedia stopped working, and more specifically, a microbe ceased to display the page.

Please try a different bittorrent client, some work better than others. Furthermore (if you tried that one) the latest german archive is 20130106 - the one from 20130105 had some errors.

project has been discontinued for all platforms they insted now plan to contribute to www.kiwix.org/wiki/Main_Page as it is officialy supported by wikipedia it is also available for linux and lightweight
now how to download wikipedia dumps that work on evopedia
or maybe new app gets compiled for n900

Kiwix is running fine in Fremantle.
Download:
http://download.kiwix.org/bin/kiwix-server-arm.tar.bz2 -O kiwix-server-0.9-linux-armv5tejl.tar.bz2
and unpack for example in /opt/kiwix.
ZIM archives are available at:
http://download.kiwix.org/zim/wikipedia/
create a kiwix_start script with: (substiture the path of your ZIM wikipedia dump)
#!/bin/bash
/opt/kiwix/kiwix-serve --port 8888 /media/mmc1/KIWIX/wikipedia_en_all_nopic_01_2014.zim &
sleep 3
dbus-send --system --type=method_call --dest=com.nokia.osso_browser /com/nokia/osso_browser/request com.nokia.osso_browser.load_url string:"localhost:8888"
Done.
PS. Remember to kill the kiwix-serve, maybe with a kiwix_stop
