p.s i was online on my n900 with battery almost about to end and i had no other source to come online and read the posts cause of electricity problem at my side .
and now finally i am able to use my laptop so just reading all the post.

I have a problem...after installing kernel power v47 Multiboot to access kernel power doesnt work...I rename the file in etc/multiboot.d and also de file in /boot and I obtain guru meditation =( What can I do? I cant enter in maemo Kernel power anymore =(

Pali, thanks for all the work you're putting into this.

There's a bug that affects my bluetooth headphones with this kernel, it was actually introduced in v46 of kernel-power and there were only a few changes between v45 and v46 and only one relating to bluetooth, so that would be the likely culprit. The bug is that after a few minutes of audio playback being stopped I get virtually no sound to my headphones when I restart playback, it does however only seem to affect one of the two sets of bluetooth headphones I use.

In v47 is fixed problem with one bluetooth headphone. If you find patch on internet which can (maybe) fix your problem, I can recompile kernel to test if t works...

hey ... i tried this command as root and sudo but it doesnt work temperature still show 363 c.

Had this too because of missing "kernel-power-bootimg" package (which conflicted with "multiboot-kernel-power") Just install or reinstall "kernel-power-bootimg" and there should be no need to tinker with the *.item files.

Code:

apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg
or try
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power-bootimg
