i had the problem before too.
It was fMMS that was the problem.

I don't know about you guys, but after i searched this forum for a while, i can conclude that list of apps/widgets causing hildon to slow the device is pretty random, and per-user.

Most of listed never caused any trouble to me, however I just can't determine what is causing this so I can tell it's hildon itself.

I upgraded to 2.2.138 version which partially fixed problems with answering calls, and it just worked well until I overclocked with 'ideal' preset (500-950MHz in my case).

Before that I had lv set (250-850MHz) and everything worked well.
I will try changing preset to lv again, just this time up to 950MHz.

Ive boed it up and getting it sent back to Nokia anyway, hopefully theyll send me a new one or repair it - dont really fancy reflashing eMMC im a total ****** at things like that and ino ill brick it!


Thanks all ino it will fix it what you said but i don't want to try it. UPS are coming to pick it up tomorrow hopefully it doesnt take long. Anyone know how long it takes?

how to remove an application listed in xterm with maemo-list-user-packages, who was removed with app manager but seems to be still listed in installed packages. for example xsnow?

You must be root

apt-get remove xsnow

Hmmm.

I am not sure.

But i think "maemo-list-user-packages" only lists packages with category user/*.

dpkg -s <package name>

please help me to understand why some packages that i uninstalled with app manager are listad with: maemo-list-user-packages
