The first page was written long before PR 1.3, so it applies to PR 1.2. For PR 1.3 you need to install this package:

http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/...+0m5_armel.deb

The process is owned by 'user', but using root to kill it is okay as well. It makes no difference on the N900. I think whoever replied to you came off a bit strong myself.

If it was a desktop install then sure, you ~might~ need to think about it a little deeper, but given the platform... It's just nitpicking to prove some unknown point.

One doubt: have I to do something before install it? (eg. remove/purge some files...) or I can simply install it?

Hi all,

When I first installed MohammadAG's Modified Hildon Desktop on PR1.2 the telephone glitch disappeared.

When I upgraded to PR1.3, I installed http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/...+0m5_armel.deb but the glitch didn't completely disappear. The problem still exists, although it is not as annoying as without the fix.

Am I the only one facing this problem?
