Instead of images, would it possible to add text to the the standby screen? What I am looking for, is to have random quotes from a file in the standby screen under the clock. A script which runs in the background could dynamically change the text at periodic intervals.

Would this be possible?

If it's still of any use, I'm on PR1.0 and here's my libsysuid-screenlock-nokia.css file. Couldn't find the term you're looking for though, sorry.

i've put the clock color to black in low power mode, so it won't appear anymore, and put a huge logo. wonder if preventing the image moving and stay right in place would damage the screen. i don't think it would. but why nokia would set up that as default then ?

It would def. damage the screen if it was like that for extended periods.
That's precisely why they have the clock moving, AMOLED can be susceptible otherwise.

Thank you so much!

Can you post some screenshots of it around the device?

Also, to use it, do we just replace the font: $Font... for /usr/share/fonts/Nokia/OstrichBold.ttf ?

Can someone tell me how to select which font for the clock to use?

Also, what directory is the PNG saved in? I used LPMC but my images are still being displayed as 120 x 120 :/
