With
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall -d system-ui
you downloaded the deb file (to /var/cache/apt/archives/). Now you need to remove the ledapplet and reinstall system-ui.
First:
Code:
dpkg -r duicontrolpanel-ledapplet-l10n-additional_0.0.2-1_all.deb
dpkg -r duicontrolpanel-ledapplet_0.0.2-1_armel.deb
then:
Code:
/usr/sbin/incept /var/cache/apt/archives/system-ui_1.3.2_1+0m8_armel.deb
that should be right but i don't tested it

I don't know if you read this already:

Secondly, if you try to install it regularly it'll give you an error of not replacing with a less trusted source hence we use inception to install it...

You can remove the led files as mentioned in the above post just don't do dpkg -r system-ui
Code:
dpkg -r duicontrolpanel-ledapplet-l10n-additional_0.0.2-1_all.deb
dpkg -r duicontrolpanel-ledapplet_0.0.2-1_armel.deb
Code:
/usr/sbin/incept /var/cache/apt/archives/system-ui_1.3.2_1+0m8_armel.deb
that should be right but i don't tested it

This is from the terminal:

Did you read the error?!
"you must specify packages by their own names, not byquoting the names of the files they come in"

So,
as root:
1.
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall -d system-ui
2.
Code:
dpkg -r duicontrolpanel-ledapplet-l10n-additional
3.
Code:
dpkg -r duicontrolpanel-ledapplet
4. (Try autocomplete to look for the deb file)
Code:
/usr/sbin/incept /var/cache/apt/archives/system-ui_1.3.2_1+0m8_armel.deb
if this dont work you have to ask someone else (i don't know what elso to do )

Hi guys,

I have read all the posts but I still am not sure if I would be able to install the LED Notifications....

I do not have neither inception nor open mode. I have the System UI Extensions (Status Menu Extension) installed (ver. 0.0.5.6).

Which steps should I follow to install the LED Notifications?

Thanks a lot for your help. You guys rock!
